PowerLink™ is easy to configure and install. Much of the work, in fact, is
done ahead of time using the preconfiguration process described below.
Step 1: Contact Astrocom's technical support during normal
business hours (8:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M. Monday-Friday) or via
help@astrocorp.com to receive a
PowerLink™ Preconfiguration Worksheet
and begin the preconfiguration process.
Step 2: Once the completed preconfiguration worksheet is received by
technical support, we develop a configuration and diagram. This process
takes from a few hours (for a very simple installation) to a few days, based
on the complexity of the installation.
Step 3: Astrocom's experts return a proposed configuration and diagram
to you for approval. As with any point in the process, feel free to ask
questions, and make additions, corrections or suggestions at this time.
Step 4: Once your plan is approved, we configure your PowerLink™ at
our site, where the support of the full Astrocom team is available. Alternatively,
we can provide a completed configuration for you to download directly into your
device after minimal configuration (establishing connectivity on at least one
WAN).
Step 5: You let us know when you plan to install the PowerLink™
on-site, so we can we make sure we're prepared in case you encounter any problems
during installation.
